Jatin Kochhar the Pride of India

Born an Aquarius in 1972, Jatin Kochhar came from a family who is in the line of businesses. He was believed to be born talented; he took up his fashion skills very creatively although he doesn’t have a formal school in training with regards to fashion designs, but still he is eager and determined to pursue his God given talent. He was blessed with so many abilities and that made him popular. He started to work out his career in fashion designing when he launched his labeled wear lines, for the young group sometime in the year 1991.


Jatin Kochhar is one of India’s prides when it comes to fashion styles and designs. A very versatile individual because aside from being a fashion designer, he indulge himself also in to other related activities like writing, anchoring and a lot of things just to give and share his best in order to served and entertain the people in the different field of industry that he attended. Jatin Kochhar is a very creative person and he is using it up to the maximum level of his career. In fashion designing, he shows his own techniques when it comes to classic design and chic designs. The blending of both designs mesmerized everybody and adored by them. Jatin Kochhar is very meticulous with his designs for as much as possible; the styles must be simple yet elegant and class, that is why it is most loved by his clients as well as by the public.

When the Australian Fashion Framework conducted a fashion show, Jatin Kochhar was the one designer in India that was chosen to showcase that event with his elegant and classic collections together with the Australian team during the tour on the “Out of Australia World Tour” last 1993. By that, he begins to start and open his own personal stores and just recently, when he put up his three stores in Goa, Mumbai, and Nagpur in the place of Delhi. Living in a simple place and in the lifestyles of urban, he chose to make a design that is perfectly fitted for them, a practical and simple outfit but has a class look that can be worn by everybody in any occasions like formal to casual wear.


Jatin Kochhar managed to work in to two different and separate lines. The first line is for men and women that cater the fashion consciousness. The other is a clothing line that is exclusive for evening attire. It offers classic wears from the traditional attire to the fusion attire then to western attire which is a formal wear. Being a versatile person, Jatin Kochhar also busy doing serials in the television as an anchor of the many shows like Khoobsoorat, The Indian Show and last but not the least, the Fashion Square show. Along with his busy career in fashion designing and as an anchor, he also writes up fashion show events and lifestyles in newspapers and in different magazines. Jatin Kochhar achieved lots of awards in the many years of serving the industry.
